Copenhagen has a rich architectural history

🇩🇰 Copenhagen, the capital city of Denmark, has a rich architectural history, blending both traditional Scandinavian design with modern influences. The city’s architecture reflects its long history and cultural diversity, with examples of Gothic, Baroque, Renaissance, and modern architecture.

One of the most famous examples of civil architecture in Copenhagen is the Amalienborg Palace, which is the official residence of the Danish royal family. The palace consists of four identical Rococo-style buildings that surround an octagonal courtyard. The palace was designed by the architect Nicolai Eigtved in the mid-18th century.

Another notable example of civil architecture in Copenhagen is the City Hall, which is located in the heart of the city. The City Hall was designed by Martin Nyrop in the early 20th century and features a mix of Gothic and Baroque styles. The building is famous for its impressive tower, which rises to a height of over 100 meters.
