Golden Circle

Discover the Golden Circle, the most popular area in Iceland

Once settled in your room, head out of your hotel to discover the famous Golden Circle, which includes Þingvellir National Park, where the Icelanders founded their parliament in AD 930. This is the oldest parliament in the world. The Golden Circle includes Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall, as well as other must-see attractions such as Kerið crater and Bruarfoss blue waterfall.

The best way to get to know the entire Golden Circle is by joining a small group tour, like the ones we present. That way, you won’t have to worry about the roadmap to follow. Our preferred Golden Circle tour includes access to the Blue Lagoon as well as transport to and from the hotel, but can only be booked well in advance.

The most beautiful waterfalls you’ve ever seen

Then get ready to discover one of the most beautiful areas in Iceland. One of the first stops is Seljalandsfoss, the most searched waterfall on the entire internet! Here is your unique opportunity to experience the full power of nature.

Don’t see this waterfall from a distance – the walking path will take you directly behind the waterfall. But don’t forget your waterproof clothing! Then, we’ll make a stop at the famous Skógafoss, one of the settings for the TV series Game of Thrones. Did you know it was filmed in Iceland?

On the other hand, did you know that the south coast of Iceland is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights in all its splendor?

Head towards the black sand beach, where you can observe the geological formation on the black sand beach and a basalt column cave. From here you can still see Dyrhólaey, the stone arch made famous by FlyOver Iceland.

After all this, you still have time to see Vík, one of the most beautiful villages in Iceland. Take the opportunity to visit the Katla ice cave, where you can go INSIDE the glacier and observe layers of ice that are millions of years old. When you return to Vík, do you know where you can get the best view? Ask us.
